Cornelius Chapman

“Sold! To the man with the exceptional beard.”

Cornelius “Neil” Chapman

Age: 44
Height: 6’4″ (193 cm)
Race: Veilerrian
Occupation: outlaw
Likes: campfires, the desert, irritating Finch, gambling, playing any and every instrument he can get his hands on, singing, cooking
Dislikes: people who lack honor and a sense of humor, discord among the gang
Fears:

Chapman started out on the right side of the law, but he reckons it just didn’t stick. As a hired gun for a prosperous bank at the tender age of 23, he made a living snuffing out the lives of thieves and ruffians eager to dip their paws into the bank’s wealth through stagecoach and train robberies. An excellent tracker and a natural navigator, his quarries rarely lasted long–until he was assigned the “Demon Bandit.” Finch.

Fast-forward nearly twenty years later, Chapman is Finch’s best friend and a loyal member of the gang. Owing to his previous line of work, he’s a dead shot with a rifle and skilled rider, which makes him an invaluable asset to the group. His propensity for humor and music adds some welcome flavor to the often dull desert-dwelling, nomadic lifestyle he and his fellow gang members share. Chapman may be on the wrong side of the law, but he’s about as good as they come out in the lawless desert. He treats Finch’s gang like family, and almost always puts their needs above his own.

Will we find out why he left the civil life to become a thief? Now I’m curious.
